This is a unique opportunity to try four exciting methods of Raku firing.
Horse Hair, Naked Raku, Saggar Firing and Obvera Firing.
Cost for the two-day workshop: $245
You will require four pieces of bisque pottery featuring Terra Sigillata on their smooth surfaces. You can either bring your own pieces or participate in the Hand Building workshop to craft four pots.
Hand Building for Alternative Firing
January 15th & 16th or January 24th & 25th
We'll be using slab, coil, pinch pots methods to create the pieces and applying Terra Sigillata to the surfaces.
All materials included.

Wheel Throwing Altered Forms
with Jack
January 13, 20, 27, & February 3
Wheel thrown pot don't have to be round. Jack will walk you step-by-step through this process. Plus, you'll get to experience applying glaze using a spraying method.
Prior wheel throwing experience required.
